New Music – Sliabh Luachra Music Trail

The next release on the Sliabh Luachra record label is by the Boherbue accordion player Pat Fleming. It a collection of lively upbeat dance music and Pat is helped by his wife Maria Cotter and friends Tim Browne, Gary O’Brien and Sliabh Luachra legend Timmy O’Connor. The Album was recorded at the CYMS hall in Newmarket Co Cork by Eoin Stan O’Sullivan.

The album will be launched at a live show in An Chultúrlann MacAmlaoibh in Newmarket on Thursday June 16th. The launch concert will feature all the musician who appeared on the album and guest performances from Meadhbh Walsh, Mike Geurin and the Long Way Home Duo.

Sliabh Luachra proudly present a new album of fiddle music by Emma Sliabh Luachra is proud to present a new album of fiddle music by Emma O’Leary of Scartaglin. The album is made of up of tunes Emma collected from players she met and played with growing up in Sliabh Luachra. Emma is accompanied skilfully by Brian Mooney on bazouki on six of the seven tracks. It was recorded in an Chultúlann MacAmlaoibh in Newmarket Co Cork by Eoin Stan O’Sullivan in May 2021.
