This is a six part video series created by Ailbhe Keogan and Michael Kelly. It was made from a day Paddy spent in conversation with Eoin Stan O’Sullivan in 2019. Paddy is a great musician and teacher who has a deep understanding of Sliabh Luachra music. He is one of the few surviving pupils of the great Pádraig O’Keeffe.
Ailbhe Keogan is a screenwriter and Michael Kelly is a DOP. They are married with two kids and live in the wilds of Aughacasla with their cat, dog and two goldfish.
Ailbhe was introduced to Paddy by Rus Bradburd who wrote about Paddy in his personal memoir, Paddy on the Hardwood, although he is not the Paddy of the title!
Ailbhe is hoping to write a screenplay version of Rus’s Irish basketball adventure.
